Somalia’s elections have been postponed again, this time from October to November, raising concerns for the country and the region. Al-Shabaab has threatened to disrupt voting, highlighting the potential for violence and putting fragile state-building gains at risk.

This View on Africa will be presented by Omar S Mahmood, a Researcher in the Peace and Security Research Programme. He will discuss implications of the election delay and how this may affect the new administration.
