Mozambique has struggled to advance human development and reduce poverty. Will growth from natural gas production reinforce this trend or set the country on a path to sustainable development?
This seminar launches a new ISS report analysing Mozambique’s long-term prospects and exploring how the government of Mozambique and development partners can advance human development in the context of natural gas production.
Copies of the report will be available at the seminar. The research was commissioned by Irish Aid in support of their five-year country strategy for Mozambique (2018-2022).
Speakers:
Vasco Nhabinde, National Director, Ministry of Economy and Finance
Jakkie Cilliers, Head, African Futures and Innovation, ISS
