The Arms Management Programme of the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) and the Omega Research Foundation will host a one-day training workshop on the identification and use of military, security and policing equipment that can be used in torture and other human rights abuses. The training also covers methods on how to research the transfers of such equipment.
The training workshop, part funded by the European Commission, is relevant for various organisations, including organisations working on human rights issues, policing matters and visiting places of detention.
