Future of Africa: what COVID-19 means for the continent

How can the pandemic’s impact be overcome and what are the implications for doing business in Africa?

The likely extent of the development crisis in Africa caused by COVID-19 is quantified in a new study by the Institute for Security Studies (ISS), the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and the Frederick S. Pardee Center for International Futures. This seminar is the second in a series that explores the pandemic’s impact, how it can be overcome and what it means for doing business in Africa.

The study Exploring the impact of COVID-19 in Africa: a scenario analysis to 2030 was funded by the Hanns Seidel Foundation and Humanity United.
