The overall aim of the SARPCCO Training Programme on HIV/AIDS is to alleviate the impact of the pandemic on human, national and regional security. The objectives of the training programme are thus to provide participants with a full spectrum of knowledge and skills in order to understand HIV/AIDS; manage the risk of infection; provide care and support to infected and affected people; and to,act as change agents in the field of HIV/AIDS.
