Women and Africa’s COVID-19 recovery

In the wake of the pandemic, how can women contribute to building more inclusive and prosperous societies?

This roundtable will consider the impact of COVID-19 on African women and girls and the opportunities and challenges that have arisen for them since the pandemic. Speakers will also explore women’s roles in shaping responses to COVID-19. As the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) celebrates 30 years of promoting human security in Africa, join our panel of leading women to discuss how to build a more inclusive and prosperous continent.
