Who represents African voices on the global stage?

This seminar explores the role of African Union member states in representing the African community to the rest of the world.

The African Union (AU) often projects that it represents Africa's collective voice on the global stage. But recent crises, like that of Russia and Ukraine, raise questions about the AU's role and whether its member states also have a role to play in representing Africa on the global stage.

This seminar will reflect on the AU and member states' experiences in developing common African positions and projecting continental interests to the rest of the world.

Simultaneous French–English translation will be available for this event.
