If successful, this dialogue could end months of political turmoil.

After several delays, the inter-Togolese political dialogue finally started on 19 February in Lomé. Ghana’s President Nana Akufo-Addo was appointed as mediator by the Economic Community of West African states. Will these talks end months of political crisis in Togo?

This View on Africa is presented by Jeannine Ella Abatan, Researcher, ISS Dakar. She will analyse what’s at stake in the dialogue, the obstacles that could derail the talks and options to end the political crisis.
