While education worldwide, especially for girls, has improved, the gap between Africa and the rest of the world is widening. For the continent to catch up, African governments will need to get serious about improving access to education in the next 20 years.

This View on Africa is presented by Jakkie Cilliers, Head of African Futures and Innovation and chair of the ISS Board of Trustees. He will discuss the long-term prospects for improvements in average levels of education in Africa.
