This seminar will explore the evolving landscape of Africa’s financial flows, focusing on future aid trajectories, foreign direct investment and remittances under a business-as-usual scenario. It will also examine how targeted policy interventions can strengthen these financial streams.
Speakers will discuss strategies to curb illicit financial flows and attract investments from traditional and emerging partners in a shifting geopolitical environment that has seen aid decline. Scenario-based approaches to accelerate economic growth and development through the mobilisation of domestic and external financing will also be covered.
