Too Many Degrees: Human Security and Climate Change
Too Many Degrees: Human Security and Climate Change is a documentary that addresses the issue of human security, examining how climate threatens people and livelihoods, with water as a particular driver. Putting a human face to the issue, the film follows three groups of people in Southern Africa, telling stories seldom heard.
The film is an output of the British High Commission’s Human Security Campaign, which aims to strengthen the voice of vulnerable Southern African countries on the international stage, by mobilising political will to address climate-related threats to human security.
The screening will be introduced by John Smith on behalf of the British High Commission, and followed by a panel discussion led by Belynda Petrie, CEO OneWorld Sustainable Investment.
