Both the pandemic and measures taken to contain it are expected to have significant consequences for Ethiopia’s social and political stability, and its political transition. How will COVID-19 affect the already fragile security situation in the country and the political liberalisation that started in 2018?
This seminar will examine the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on Ethiopia, with a focus on the state of emergency, political stability and governance.
The seminar will be conducted in English.
