Can Kenya capitalise on its positive development outlook?

Kenya is well placed to achieve significant growth and development – if key challenges are overcome.

Kenya’s future offers a wealth of opportunities but also significant challenges. The country is a trailblazer in information technology. It has relatively good health and education systems compared to other lower-middle-income African countries, despite average incomes being at the low end of that threshold. On the down side, access to other basic services is poor and persistent corruption scandals have cast a shadow over development prospects.

This closed seminar presents new analysis using the International Futures forecasting system. Speakers will discuss Kenya’s possible development and economic growth scenarios over the next 20 years.

The research report will be available at the seminar.

This seminar is co-hosted with Kenya Business Guide.
