Combating corruption in the extractive industry in Africa

Combating corruption in the extractive industry requires a stronger overall African anti-corruption system.

This paper identifies the corruption challenges that African countries face in their extractive value chains and attempts to give recommendations for entry points for external actors in supporting capacity building to deter corruption and illicit financial flows.
