Why does multisector dialogue matter in violence prevention?

Drawing on three case studies, this webinar shares insights about facilitating dialogue and collaboration in South Africa.

Platforms like the Violence Prevention Forum (VPF) that enable dialogue and relationship building among a variety of stakeholders are increasingly needed to solve difficult problems. This is particularly true for South Africa, with its history of social isolation and mistrust between people of different race, class and political affiliation.

After nine years of multisector dialogue and collaboration, what lessons are there from the VPF process? This online seminar discusses Institute for Security Studies (ISS) research findings and their application to other complex social issues.
