Can the African Union (AU) become a streamlined organisation that improves peace and security on the continent? AU reform, combating corruption and ‘silencing the guns by 2020’ were in the spotlight at the 30th AU summit in Addis Ababa. 

This View on Africa is presented by Liesl Louw-Vaudran, ISS Consultant who was in Addis Ababa during the summit. She will discuss key outcomes and the next steps for the AU.
