SIR PIERRE VAN RYNEVELD AIR POWER SYMPOSIUM

The South African Air Force held the 2004 Sir Pierre van Ryneveld Air Power Symposium at the CSIR Conference Centre, Lynnwood , Pretoria on 20 September 2004. The theme of the symposium was “Air Power and Africa ’s Asymmetric threats in the 21 st Century”. The Keynote speaker for the day was Lieutenant General C. E. A. Singogo, the Zambia Air Force Commander. Other papers were presented by:

• Major General C. Gagiano, Chief Director Air Policy and Plans of the South African Air Force
