Shaping the future: multilateralism and Africa’s geopolitical agency

The roundtable and training course will discuss Africa's interests in a changing world and empower young leaders to shape the continent’s future.

The Institute for Security Studies (ISS) and the European University Institute (EUI) are co-hosting a roundtable and executive training course on multilateralism and Africa's global engagement. The events will provide European and African perspectives, and follow similar sessions hosted by the EUI in Uganda and Ghana.

The 12 November closed roundtable will discuss Africa's interests in a changing world. On 13 November, an executive training course will empower young leaders in foresight and scenario-building, preparing Africa's new generation to shape the continent's geopolitical future. Those interested in participating must submit their applications by 22 September.
