The Institute for Security Studies will present the results of a new study into projects that aim to prevent and counter violent extremism (P/CVE). The research covered 175 projects in ten countries most affected by terrorism in West and Central Africa, the Sahel and East Africa. Findings show how P/CVE policies are being translated into practice through an assessment of project objectives, target groups, activities, ‘theory of change’, evaluation approaches, lessons learned and funding sources.
