ISS Conference: Policy Challenges for the Management of HIV/AIDS in the Armed Forces in Southern Africa

A Conference on Policy Challenges for the Management of HIV/AIDS in the Armed Forces in Southern Africa is due to be hosted by the ISS MilAIDS / Defence Sector Programme in Maseru, Lesotho from Wednesday 17th to Friday 19th October 2007. The Conference is hosted by the Makoanyane Military Hospital, Lesotho Defence Forces at the Maseru Sun International Hotel.

 

The Conference audience is Medical Corps Directors from Southern African armies, NGOs, academics, specialists on the subject, media, civil society and others interested to examine existing policies, share experiences and consider options from emerging research results, including the current issue that focuses on the "rolling-out" of mass male circumcision.
