The Defence Sector Programme at the Institute for Security Studies has published a book on “Prospects for a Security Community in Southern Africa”. The book launch has been planned to introduce this book to the public.

 

The launch will be held at the Institute for Security Studies in Pretoria.

The programme for the launch will be:

  • Welcome and introductory remarks by Major General Len le Roux;

  • Short briefing of the work done by the Defence Sector Programme of the ISS by the head of the programme, Len Le Roux

  • Brief remarks by Guest of Honour; (Dr K D Kaunda – First President of Zambia)

  • Introduction to the book by Dr Naison Ngoma, Senior researcher at the Defence Sector Programme of the ISS.

  • Book Launch

  • Light lunch.
