Evidence-Based Policing South Africa

Connecting researchers, police and public safety actors and supporting police reform for a safer country.

Evidence-Based Policing South Africa (EBPSA) is a community of researchers, police officers, government officials and their allies working to generate and apply research evidence to improve policing and public safety. This conference provides an opportunity to exchange ideas, share new research and strengthen partnerships.

Day 1 is hybrid (online and in-person), and will primarily cover new research in the field. Day 2 is in-person only and will involve small group and plenary discussions to inform police reform. When registering, indicate which days you will attend. Space for in-person attendance is limited.
