Call for expression of interest: website maintenance and technical support

The Institute for Security Studies invites proposals from qualified service providers or individuals to provide ongoing website maintenance and technical support for the Violence Prevention Forum (VPF) website from 1 June 2026 to 30 June 2027.
 
The provider must ensure that the VPF website remains secure, up-to-date, accessible, and optimised for visibility and performance.
 
Scope of work
The successful applicant will be responsible for the following services:

 

  • Backup management, including regular and secure website backups
  • Software updates
  • Security management, including monitoring and addressing vulnerabilities
  • Google Analytics setup and on-demand reporting
  • Google Search Console management
  • Uploading and managing up to five (5) new content items per month
  • Implementing SEO changes for new content and adapting existing content where required

 
Required skills and experience


Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in website maintenance and technical support
  • Strong knowledge of website security, backups, and performance optimisation
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Experience implementing SEO best practices
  • Familiarity with non-profit, research, or public-interest websites is an advantage
  • Familiarity with the work of the Violence Prevention Forum is an advantage
