Good practices in using the law to keep children safe

This webinar showcases lessons learned on advocating for legal protections to prevent violence against children.

Developing and strengthening legal protections for safeguarding children and the means to enforce them, is a prudent step in preventing violence against children. Implementing laws to prevent violent behaviour, reduce excessive alcohol use, and limit youth access to weapons are key evidence-based strategies in INSPIRE: Seven strategies for preventing violence against children.

This seminar will showcase good practices and lessons learned on engaging with governments in Argentina and South Africa.
