The conference envisages enhancing greater awareness about the African Peace and Security Architecture (APSA); examining Africa’s future security challenges; undertaking a deep analysis of the APSA as a response to Africa’s security threats; and proposing some policy recommendation on how to identify capacity constraints, enhance and strengthen APSA.
Â
The conference brings together key commissioned researchers, experts, government officials, researchers, practitioners and civil society officials working in the field of peace and security to present their research and engage in interactive discussions on the future security threats in Africa and appropriate policy responses.
