As an organisation working collaboratively with state and non-state institutions to enhance human security in Africa, the Institute for Security Studies is convening a Workshop in the picturesque coastal city of Mombasa to discuss the implications of implementing the recently adopted legislation against money laundering in Kenya. The Workshop will take place on Wednesday 7 April and Thursday 8 April 2010 at the Intercontinental Hotel.

We expect 50 participants at the Workshop, drawn from practitioners, researchers and public officials working on money laundering issues in the region.
