What to expect at the AU’s Nouakchott summit

Corruption, AU reform and South Sudan are among the main discussion points for African leaders.

This seminar will discuss issues on the agenda of the upcoming African Union (AU) summit in Nouakchott, Mauritania. Key among these are Africa’s fight against corruption, the status of the AU reform process, as well as pressing peace and security issues like South Sudan and the future of European Union funding for African peace operations.

The latest issue of the ISS PSC Report, which focuses on the AU summit, will be available at the seminar.
