With the Democratic Republic of Congo’s (DRC) elections delayed until December 2018, the next few months will be critical for President Joseph Kabila’s government and opposition parties. Many Congolese have also been closely watching recent developments in Zimbabwe. Could this have an effect on politics in the DRC in the run up to elections next year?

This View on Africa is presented by Stephanie Wolters, head of the ISS Peace and Security Research programme. She will discuss what the next 12 months in the DRC may bring.
