Central African states are under increasing pressure to deliver goods and services amid growing economic stress. Reported incidents of political violence are on the rise, and many of the region’s longest serving leaders are aging, indicating that political transitions loom on the horizon. Given these challenges, how can the region avoid a political and economic crisis?

This View on Africa is presented by Zachary Donnenfeld, Senior Researcher African Futures and Innovation, ISS Pretoria. He will discuss the results of a new ISS study on how the region can turn things around.
